Site investigation · borehole logs & stratigraphy

Borehole & strata studio

Enter boreholes with their coordinates and levels, the logged strata with AS 1726 descriptions, and the SPTs and samples. The studio draws gINT-style borehole log sheets, a geological cross-section at standard scales with vertical exaggeration, a site plan with an interpolated surface and contours, a stratigraphic summary with unit statistics and an interactive 3-D ground model. Everything exports: an Excel workbook with live formulas and the drawings embedded, a PDF drawing set (A3 and A4), AGS4, SVG and PNG.

Your data stays in your browser. It is saved automatically on this device; use Save JSON to keep a copy. Interpolated stratigraphy between boreholes is indicative only and must be read with the factual logs.

Related: the CPT, SPT and pile calculators are in the Design & analysis toolkit (Site investigation and Foundations sections), and the lab test workbooks are under Lab & pile workbooks.
