Review drawings and take off quantities in the browser. Open a PDF set or a scanned plan, set the scale, and mark it up with revision clouds, callouts, stamps and comments on layers with a status for each. Measure lengths, areas, perimeters, counts, angles and volumes, group them by subject into a priced takeoff, keep your favourite tools in a tool chest, compare two revisions and cloud the changes, then export a printable Excel takeoff, a CSV markups list or the marked-up page.
Files are opened and processed only in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Check the scale against a known dimension before relying on measurements; scanned drawings may not be to scale.
What the markup & takeoff studio does
Open a PDF drawing set, a scanned plan in PNG or JPG, or the built-in two-revision sample. Set the scale per page from the standard drawing scales or calibrate it from a known dimension, then mark up with revision clouds, callouts, text, arrows, rectangles, ellipses, highlights, freehand pen and review stamps. Every markup carries a subject, comment, layer, status and author, and is listed in a filterable markups list you can jump from.
Measurement tools give lengths, polylengths, areas, perimeters, counts, angles, radii and volumes (area × depth) on the drawing. Group them by subject into a takeoff, add rates and get an amount; save tools you use often, with their colour, subject, layer and rate, in the tool chest. Compare two pages to see what was removed (red) and added (blue), and cloud the changes automatically. Export the markups as CSV, a printable Excel takeoff with live formulas, a flattened PNG or a project file to reload later. Everything stays in your browser.
